Welcome!

However you arrive here—hopeful or hopeless, desperate or desiring, or simply curious—you are welcome.

We often first come to therapy wanting to rid ourselves of what ails us, fix the things about ourselves we don’t like, and get back to life as usual.

Instead, I invite you to listen: to yourself, to your life, and to what’s causing you distress.

Anxiety, depression, indecisiveness, anger, addiction, whatever you’re going through, are all are messengers. So too are the things that move you to gratitude, evoke joy, or tears.

These all must be listened to for the wisdom they offer. Ignore them at your own risk.

  • The first step is an informal phone call. I want to get a sense for what you’re looking for in therapy and see if we are a good fit to work together. I answer any questions you have and tell you a bit about myself.

If for whatever reason we aren’t a fit, I’m happy to provide additional referrals and resources.

  • We work together to assess fit and goals. If we both decide to move forward, we’ll work together to find regular time to meet.

  • You receive a link to your Client Portal. There’s a brief intake form to complete before the first session and a few other documents to look over and sign. You can also manage your payment options and set up appointment alerts.

    Now we’re ready to begin!

“There are only two things that pierce the human heart. One is beauty. The other is affliction.”
